In a deal led by Alex Hicks, Managing Director at Artemis Transaction Advisors, Triumph Higher Education Group has acquired Vancouver’s Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA), marking a strategic expansion into the Canadian market. By uniting PICA with the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, the partnership creates a network serving 8,000 students annually across North America. Alex Hicks noted, "This deal is a notable opportunity for Triumph to expand beyond the United States and is a cornerstone of future growth. The new partnership will ensure a continued commitment to students’ success well into the future."

This integration combines PICA’s hands-on programs at its iconic Granville Island location in Vancouver with Auguste Escoffier’s comprehensive online culinary education. Highlighting the deal's significance, Darrell Butler, Founder of Artemis Transaction Advisors, added, "We are proud to have guided this transaction uniting the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts with Triumph’s portfolio to create an international powerhouse, strategically positioning Triumph Higher Education Group to address critical skilled labor shortages."
