Chicago, IL, June 10, 2019. Billow Butler & Company, L.L.C. (BBC), a Chicago-based, middle-market investment bank, is pleased to announce the sale of Precision Plating Company, Inc. (PPC) to Aalberts N.V., a publicly traded, multinational manufacturer of mission-critical systems.
Billow Butler & Company served as exclusive advisor to PPC on the transaction that resulted in an agreement for Aalberts to acquire 100% of the shares of PPC. PPC generates annual revenues of approximately 36 million USD.

Founded in 1975, Aalberts N.V. is headquartered in the Netherlands and operates in more than 50 countries and specializes in installation, material, climate and industrial technologies. Aalberts will gain 150 full time employees through the acquisition.
PPC is a 115-year-old, multi-generational provider of precious and non-precious metal plating services. The company offers reel-to-reel, rack and barrel plating processes with a strong focus on R&D, customized engineering and innovation. The company develops and builds its own machinery to continuously improve the efficiency of the plating processes.
The Aalberts/PPC deal was one of Billow Butler & Company’s 15 closings over the last two years and added to the firm’s growing resume of successful sell-side transactions for middle market businesses across a variety of sectors including Industrial Products and Services, the Food & Beverage Sectors, Consumer Products & Services, Healthcare & Patient Services, Business Services and Technology.
