Chicago, IL 7/26/2024 – Artemis Transaction Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Alexander (“Alex”) Hicks to the firm as Managing Director and Head of Education and Tech-Enabled Services. With a focus on the education and education technology sectors, Alex brings two decades of investment banking and corporate finance advisory experience. His expertise will lead Artemis into a new sector delivering high-quality services to private companies and sponsor-backed clients throughout the US.
Alex will spearhead the delivery of strategic advisory services, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and providing customized financial solutions to businesses operating in an array of subsectors, including Digital Content & Curriculum, Data & Assessment, Exam / Test Prep, Enabling Infrastructure, For-Profit Education, Continuing Education / Lifelong Learning, and Corporate Training.

Alex will be based in Artemis’ new Dallas office and will serve clients throughout the country. Prior to joining Artemis Transaction Advisors, Alex served as a Director at TD Cowen, a national full-service investment bank. In this position, he played a crucial role in executing significant transactions in the education and tech-enabled services sectors. He began his career with Robert W. Baird in Chicago. With a proven history of delivering outstanding results, Alex has gained the respect of both industry peers and clients.
