[Chicago, IL] — Harvest Investments, Ltd. (n.k.a. “Harvest Valuations”), a tech-enabled valuation services company that is focused on complex financial instruments, has been recapitalized by Brass Ring Capital, a leading private equity fund focused on partnering with middle market companies and management teams to accelerate growth.

Harvest Valuations’ founder, Verne Scazzero, will remain CEO and a substantial shareholder. “We are thrilled to partner with Brass Ring as we embark on this exciting new chapter for Harvest,” said Mr. Scazzero. “This transaction represents a significant milestone in our growth journey and allows us to better serve our clients with expanded resources. I’m incredibly grateful to our team and clients, whose trust and dedication have brought us to this moment.”

The rest of the leadership team will also remain in place, including Executive Director of Global Valuations, Susan DuRoss. The team is excited for this partnership, which should enable the company to enhance service offerings, invest in technology, and further strengthen its reputation as a leader in valuing equities, bonds, derivatives, structured products, alternative investments, and other complex financial instruments for an array of customers, including audit/accounting firms.

Artemis Transaction Advisors served as investment banker to Harvest Investments. John Lahti, Managing Director at Artemis, led the transaction and was supported by Andrew Samuels and Maximus Raynal. “This transaction highlights the tremendous value that Harvest has created as a trusted leader in valuation,” Mr. Lahti commented. “Verne and his team have done a remarkable job, and Brass Ring’s partnership will only amplify the future potential. We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this partnership to fruition.”

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP served as legal counsel and Sophia Bross, Corporate Strategy & Business Development Consultant, served internal transaction liaison for Harvest Valuations. The transaction closed on December 31, 2024.
